Secluded by not isolated. Lubbers Quarters is approximately 3 miles south of Hope Town and lies in the protected waters of the Sea of Abaco. One mile long by 1/2 mile wide, it’s a family-friendly place with lots of peace and quiet. A great place to keep a small boat.
Man O’ War Cay
Known for its boat-building history, Man O’War Cay has a population of about 300 Bahamian residents and about 135 foreign resident families. This quiet island (no alcohol sold on the island) holds tight to its traditions and boasts some immaculately manicured luxury homes.
Here you’ll find the majority of services available in all of the Abacos: grocery stores, bookstore, post office, specialty shops, laundries, restaurants, marina. Yes, and the only stoplight in the Out Islands. The Eastern Shore has many waterfront homes, cottages and villas. With its larger population size, you may find more available properties for sale in Marsh Harbour than in some smaller islands.
